It seems players will be able to use Grovyle, Combusken, or Marshtomp in these demos, meaning the game will probably start a little later in the story. Past Pokemon demos that have been available at Pokemon Centers in Japan have also started a little later in the story and usually let you run around a single route, so it could be the same case here. There’s also a blurb that says “You can obtain a new Mega Evolution,” meaning the goal of the demo will probably be to unlock or see this new Mega Evolution. Next month’s CoroCoro issue will hit store shelves on the 15th.
